Community Activities

Hospitality House recognizes the importance of giving back to the community and encourages clients participating in the program build their own connections to the community. Residents regularly assist in the following programs and activities:

  Safe Ride Program
Working with local law enforcement agencies, residents participate in Albany's annual New Year's Eve "Safe Ride Program" that provides rides home on New Year's Eve and Day. Residents take phone calls and help to arrange for transportation.

Music Mobile

Music Mobile provides summertime cultural and recreational services to children and families in Albany’s underserved neighborhoods. Residents help to organize and store equipment, storage and office work.
 

 Community Presentations

Hospitality House provides speakers and presentations for community organizations, colleges, Middle and High schools.

Capital Holiday Lights in the Park

“Capital Holiday Lights” - the lights spectacular in Washington Park that benefits the work of the Albany Police Athletic League.
